Karyn, I this point I do not have any information which ties Martin to Ontario, Canada....but since I know little about him, I can't rule that out yet.... One interesting family story/myth is that either he or his wife Mary were "cousins" to Archbishop Daniel Murray of Dublin (1768-1852). I haven't been able to confirm whether or not this family story is true. I would be interested in knowing if any other O'Neill's passed down a smiliar story. I am searching for info on MONTY(MONTE) O'NEAL, married OLLIE SPENCER, had 3 children J.G.O'NEAL, LESTER LEROY (nickname Curly) O'NEAL, and Thelma O'Neal. Lester was born Nov 1917 in Ark, died Aug 1986 in Ala. Monty and Ollie died befor the children were grown and they went into an orphanage, I don't know where. Growing up, & living in small town America, where there are no family secrets, I was surprised.
