    3. My g grandparents, Michael HANLEY and Susan O"NEILL were married on October 18, 1885 at St Cecilia Church in Englewood, Bergen County, New Jersey. They had two children - Michael Edward HANLEY born September 8, 1886 and Denis HANLEY born December 8, 1887. Both sons were baptized at this church. I believe both Michael and Susan were born in Ireland and emigrated to the USA. Michael may have had a sister Ellen HANLEY who was a witness to his marriage to Susan. I'm hoping to obtain more information about Michael and Susan and these branches of the family. Please let me know and I'm willing to share. 3. Hello Everyone, I know there are a lot of smart O'Neill's out there with a lot of information. I'm stuck with a Tyrone O'Neill. I do have quite a bit of info, just need to confirm it though, maybe someone can help. Aodh Bul ( Hugh the Blond) b. ca 1629 Going back is easy and well documented in Ireland, coming forward is what I need to document. I dont know for sure if he was born and died in Co Tyrone. Hugh's son was Phelime, who supposedly added the new surname Hugh es, which of course became Hughes. From Phelime (Felix) forward is well documented from the Hughes Bible and other various sources. So what I need to find is Hugh in Ireland that lists is children, spouse, etc. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks, Steve

    3. Hi all~ Long time since I have written, hope you're well. I am going to Ireland, Great Britian, Scotland and Wales finally, and am hoping those of you who have been would provide me with some of the outstanding O'Neill and O'Neall sites to visit while I am there with my family. What I am looking for are the premier Antrim and Ulster places to visit which pertain to O'Neill history, such as Shane's Castle and Carrickfergus. If you would kindly write back with any tips about what are the 'must sees' I would surely appreciate it! If you know which people in the gen line (s) the places pertain too that would also be helpful, I am taking 2 children and this will be a learning vacation for all of us, I plan to teach them as I go and am preparing a booklet to take along with us to relate how each individual in the O'Neill clan relates to that place and that time in history. YOUR tips would be so important to these kids and to myself. If you have been to the important O'Neill places I would love to hear from you. I'll be doing the same with my Scottish, Welsh and English lines as well. Any ideas about b & b's would also be extremely important. Thanks so much~ Jill O'Neall Ching

    3. Hi Dave, I am not familiar with Cooperstown, or the White Plains area. Which states are we speaking of? Is O'Neill your last name? My Uncle James would have been born in Johnstone, Scotland about 1910. His brothers and sisters were: Jenny who lived in or about New Jersey, and Betty, Isabel, and Peter (my father) who lived in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Other siblings remained in Scotland. All are deceased. I have my fingers crossed that perhaps we have a match. Hopefully, your possible cousin, Joanne ----- Original Message ----- From: <DATERCONN@aol.com> To: <ONEALL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, June 08, 2000 3:53 PM Subject: Re: [ONEALL-L] Joanne St.John > I grew up on a farm that my Grandfather bought in the early 40's outside of > Cherry Valley..near Cooperstown.
