    1. [ONEALL-L] Want to share
    2. This isn't O'Neal "stuff" but just wanted to share with my "cousins" the funniest book on genealogy ( yes I said funny ) that there could ever be! It is hilarious and you can so identify with what she writes if you've been into our pursuit of genealogy even just a few weeks!! I have absolutely no connection with this book in any way, just happened across it in my library. The book is "COLLECTING DEAD RELATIVES" by Laverne Galeener-Moore, pub. 1987 by Genealogical Publishing Co. OH- there's at least one sequel which was sitting on my libraries shelves, which I'm going to run back and get next! Brenda in Kansas [email protected]

I have a William O'Neal born 15, April, 1782, Johnston, NC, married to Serena or Rene Hinton, b. 22, Dec., 1780, or Johnston, NC. I have William as the son of Micajah O'Neal, b. 1754, Johnston, NC. I am in the process of researching this data. I am particularly interested in James O'Neal's descendants. James is listed as the son of William O'Neal, b. 1750, and the grandson of John O'Neal. 1. [ONEALL-L] O'Neill, Essex County N.J.
    2. I am searching for any information regarding my GGGF O'Neill (First name possibly Joseph) who worked and most likely resided in Newark N.J. during the late 1800's and early 1900's. He may have worked as a furniture delivery driver for a store known as (A.S. Plough, J.S. Plough or Plow or Plout? located then on Broad st. near Raymond Blvd. ) He supposedly had a brother in the Buffalo, N.Y. area. My GGF never met his father and that is why my information is questionable, but his mother (Maiden name Mary Richardson) told him the above. I have no proof that Mary and Joseph were ever married. My GGF Joseph Jerimiah O'Neill was born in 1898. Mary and son (my GGF) Joseph lived on Durand St. in Newark off of Mulberry St., Joseph attended school at St. Johns church in Newark until 3rd grade. I realize this is a "Hail Mary search" but this is what I have to work with. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Pat

As you know I started this list several years ago and have been the list administrator since inception, and I personally maintain many pertinent websites regarding our O'Nexxl's. I have a need right now that is non-genealogical in nature and an off topic request, but rather than burden the list with it I am asking for those that are willing to help, write to me asap. (Don't worry it has nothing to do with $). This help would take less than 5 minutes of your time, and is extremely important to me. Thanks, Jill O'Neall Ching

    1. [ONEALL-L] Thanks
    2. Jill C.
    3. Thanks to all who have responded so far to my personal problem, you are appreciated. To those who have already sent the letters thank you, I need as many as I can get. I have sent responses to all who requested the off-topic info, you should have the details of what I need now. Know that you are doing a kind act. Sincerely, Jill Ching
