Hi All~ I'm beginning to think this list is called Moses O'Neale ~ shouldn't some of these msgs. be sent to each other privately? I wonder if there are any desendants to Thomas Francis O'NEILL who was b. in Buffalo,N.Y. 1863, he was in Baltimore MD. in 1889 when my gr.mom was born [4th] to him and Alice Cecilia [MONAHAN] O'NEILL~there were 9 kids in all~ they all ended up in St.Louis area {Shrewsbury Park}~ the girls married surnames were Fletemeyer ~ Moore~Cook~ LaKamp~ the sons names were Thomas ~ Norval~ Francis [d.at 17] and 1 name that can't be recalled~ It would be nice if someone recognized any of theses names as they are all hiding behind 'the wall' from me! Thanks ever so~ 'wearing the green in sunny Calif.' ALICE >*;*<
Sorry! I guess I caused some confusion about this polling on the location with may last post. I didn't mean you could not vote for other locations only that those four locations were the leading sites to date. Hope that clears up any confusion this dilapidated "OLD" Sot has been trying to instill in the otherwise steadfast and focused O'Nexlx mail list. Hey Gang! I have John (in France) helping me with this Location Poll and we have decided that, due to the trickling down of votes coming in, a deadline is in order. So here it is! If you have not voted on a location for the O'Nexlx clan USA gathering you have until 12:00 midnight, USA CST - Friday Nov. 20, 1998. We will then give the final results this week-end. If you have voted - Thanks! Hello list I am sending this due to it sounding very real. I know there are such things as hoax viruses. My sister received this as a forward and forwarded it to me. If I'm not supposed to send something like this to the list let me know. My concern is all of the data that everyone has stored on their computers and the time and effort it took to locate the information. It just seemed like the thing to do. Hi Paul: My O'Neils are not the same line as yours. The archives can be searched at http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl Type in a surname to search. Nancy, (would you believe) Lomita, CA ____ Nancy Lohbrunner [email protected]
To: Hi to "DoubLam" and all, Bert sent me a copy of the e-mail about Gallatin, Ky. to see if I had any info. I had set your letter aside to check into this. I think I may have a connection. I think these O'Neals are connected to Sarah O'Neal(l) who married Elisha Ford Mar 9, 1784 and who was the daughter of William O'Neall and Mary Frost. How I came about this material is very convoluted and I do not wish to mention my source just yet. I have written to that person asking him to contribute his line to Jill's site. I have not received a reply. Jill, have you heard from him? What he gave me is this: Sarah O'Neal(l) born 18 Jul 1764 in Winchester, VA and died 1840 in Shelby Co., Ky. and daughter of William O'Neall and Mary Frost. She married Elisha Ford March 9, 1784. He was born Nov 24, 1757 in Fairfax Co., VA and died Sept 29, 1833 in Shelby Co., Ky. They had a son John Ford born Oct 3, 1787 in Newberry District, SC who died Sept 21, 1871 in Ohio Co., Ky. and who married Nancy Garth Jun 28, 1806 in Shelby Co. Ky. This is all that he sent me. Your list shows other Ford's. It shows Ohio River survey which I assume might connect to Ohio Co., Ky. There are connections between transfers from Shelby Co. to Gallatin Co. Anne O'Neal
I can send some Canada sites (not specifically Oneall Sites) if it will help. Though I'm beginning to think I'm the only one on this list researching O'Neill on this list. As a matter of fact I'm about to unsubscribe. Let me know if you'd like me to forward the sites. Gereen

Ginny, I realized after I sent it you were not talking about Moses in 1804. I think this is all the same family. Glenda
Anne, I am a newcomer to this line. My John Neale / O'Neal married Elizabeth Hungerford in Charles County MD in 1712. Their son John Charles Neale married Ann before 1772. Their son Daniel married Sarah (Sallie) callaway and both died in Washington County, VA. John Charles was in Bedford County VA. Is anyone working on this line? How do I get into the ONEAL Archives? Is it restricted? Paul Parker, Lomita, CA

My William was the son of Moses O'Neal who died in Johnston County, NC Dec. 1812. Several O'Neal families who were interrelated resided in Johnston Co. during that period. >Ginny, Moses may have gone to Bedford Co., Tn., but he eventually ended up in >Greene Co., Mo. where he died. Moses had a son named William. Did he have a >brother named William also? > Glenda DEar Glenda, What I am saying is that an Isham and William O'Neal migrated to Bedford Cunty, TN after their father, Moses O'Neal, died in Dec 1812 in Johnston County, NC. With the names Isham and Moses in your inquiry it sounds as though they would be connected to the Johnston Co., NC family. I would propose that your Isham could be the Isham, son of Moses of NC, who had named his son for his father, Moses. At any rate the names are not reall common ones. Yours, Ginny Kobler
Anne, in your O'Neal searches , will you be so kind as to keep us in mind ? We are looking for the parents of Henderson O'Neal, who married Rebecca Horton Jan 2 1830 and had seven children, John (1833) Frances (1836), Sidney (1837) Thomas (1842) Michael Cadger Dee Hawkins O'Neal (1846) , Caroline (1848) Samuel (1852) Henderson married Nancy Kilner on Jan 2 1862 and they had 2 children that we know of, Martha (1864) and Zacherius (known to us as Zack R. , my grandfather) Sept 29 1865. If there is anything on Henderson's parents, Nancy's lineage, or ANY of the children I would love to know. I have found a descendant on Michael and obtained some info on that line. Willing to share anything I have. Thanks, Emma in NM
