    3. I went to school in Bowmanville in the 1940s and 1950s with two guys named Stacey. One was John Stacey, known as Spud, whose father was a school teacher, also known as Spud Stacey. The other was Alvin Stacey, believed to be no relation to John, but I could be wrong on that. Alvin lived on Liberty Street, just north of King Street. I have old school yearbooks that might contain pix of these two.
