I've located an on-line index for the Bowmanville Statesman (?) and I'm aware that there is a Durham County Newspaper Index. Does anyone know if the Port Perry newspapers (North Ontario Observer, Port Perry Star, etc.) have been indexed? Hi Doug, The library in Port Perry have computer printouts of an index for the paper... but it's a bit of a hit and miss project. I think the person who took on the project of Indexing never got it finished. The year we were looking for was there so it was not an issue for us.. Can't remember what years were missing.. sorry. If you contact them I'm sure they can give you the details... By the way... what is the URL for the index you mention above.????? David
