Hi all: Following on the Johnston thread, I have a Mary Johnston, marrying John Bruce, I believe in Fermanagh and settling in Cartwright Twp. My sources indicated they sailed in June, 1840 with several children and they were 13 weeks crossing the Atlantic. John died of a fever shortly after his arrival and Mary, with her children, farmed in the Devitt's Settlement. Upon her death, she was buried, next to John, in Cavan. Does anyone see any connections?
