    1. Thank You for Your Answers! (Re: Helpful books?)
    2. Astrid Terras
    3. A big "Thank you!" to the individuals who answered my query. The time and thought you took to answer my questions has been much appreciated. I love the atmosphere of generosity and shared interests in these communities. I am attempting to write a relatively brief family history on our STACEY family of Devonshire and of Canada (who lived near and married several of their Cornish neighbours) and to finish a first draft relatively soon. In the search for a good "voice" for my own writing I am therefore also interested in finding family history and local history books which are both genealogically valuable as well as an appealing read. And good local books can indeed provide invaluable "meat for the Bones." So, again, thank you very much for sharing your favourites. Much appreciated! Regards, Astrid Terras terras@vianet.on.ca Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada Interested in families of Cornwall and North Devon in England, 1800s; Also in Durham and Ontario Counties in Canada: BROAD, BURR, CAIRNS, NEWBERRY, (NEWBURY), STACEY (STACY).
