I am attempting to write a relatively brief family history on our STACEY family of Devonshire and of Canada (who lived near and married several of their Cornish neighbours) and to finish a first draft relatively soon. In the search for a good "voice" for my own writing I am therefore also interested in finding family history and local history books which are both genealogically valuable as well as an appealing read.
