Hi All... I am trying to find info about a couple of elusive ancestors, Joseph SEARLE and Mary Ann TRIM. Both would seem to have come from the Devon or Cornwall area of England according to the info I have found. They had at least 3 sons born at Port Hope: George (born 1844), Henry (born 1846), and Samuel Trim. They eventually found their way over to Guelph Ontario by the 1860s where George was a baker til his death about 1914 or so. I have found the odd trace of families in the area of Port Hope named SEARLE and TRIM, but no much of substance. Is there anyone out there who might have anyone in their trees with these surnames? I am really just starting on these lines, so the info I have is sketchy at best.
