Hello to All: While researching my Bennett family in Newcastle area I also came across another entire line of Bennett's that I have not been able to connect. I feel there is a connection as also in my family box of old documents is an original wedding invitation for a member of this family. The mystery family is: REUBEN BENNETT born 1832 England. Settled Mill Street, Newcastle, Ontario in 1842 according to 1878 Belden Atlas. Married JULIA GIBSON also born in England. Children: CHARLES WELLINGTON born 1856 SARAH born 1858 LOUISA JANE born 1862 FRANK born 1866 ALFRED JOHN born 1873 I have the original wedding invitation for Alfred John's 2nd marriage to Lottie Wilkinson in 1906. Would love to hear from anyone researching any Bennett in the area as I would not be surprised to find that Reuben and my Richard are brothers but have never been able to come up with the missing link.
