    3. Hi Julie... This is one of those rare times where I can direct some to a site the will yield really great results. I found the following site which takes a family name back many generations. To find your ancestry back to aproximatwly 1017 (yes I said the year 1017!) go to http://www.conovergenealogy.com/. David Kipp Conover has traced the Demaray surname back to the Baron of Bousis in 1017 in Cambray, France. My own link to this surname is that Jane DEMARAY.he married William Hayes WEBSTER the nephew of my great-great Grandfather. Scroll down the left side of the screen til you come to "My Data Base Files." lick on this. It wll show a cartoon. Scroll down the right side of the page til you come to the area called "My Complete Data Base." Click on that. It will show several indexes... Click on "DE LEON--to-- DIEDRICK" Til you find DEMARAY.
