    3. I don't remember seeing this message from Bev about the DRAPER family. As luck would have it, I just checked my mail before we go out the door for 2 weeks, and found this response. Now I'll be wondering all the while I ski down the slopes if there are several messages waiting... ;-) I think I may have some information about one of the daughters, Ruana. Ruana DRAPER was the 3rd wife of Henry Lill RINCH. At the time of this marriage, 19 May 1876 in Bowmanville, she was said to be the daughter of James DRAPER and Malind. She was 60 and a spinster. She died 25 Jun 1890 Bowmanville. (Henry was 78 at the time of this marriage!) I have other information for Benedict DRAPER who married Mildred RINCH (the daughter of Henry, in the above paragraph). Benedict and Mildred married 26 Dec 1842 Newcastle District. Benedict was the son of James DRAPER and Molenda McNALL. I have wondered if Benedict and Ruana were brother and sister, but because these were not direct ancestors, the importance of discovering the details wasn't so high on the list. I will be interested in comparing notes when I return... Karen in Abbotsford BC >On 14 Feb 00, at 5:36, B. H.
