Would like to obtain any information on The Demaray's that settled in Durham CO. I have that Samuel Demaray & Grietje Martin is listed in the 1822 census ( Whitby Twp). I'm trying to find out where they were before settling in Durham Co, Canada. Other surnames that are connected to my line is Varnum - Pickell - Marsh Samuel & Grietje had six children: Nicholas b) 5 Mar 1776 Richard b) 11 Feb 1778 Geesie b) c. 1780 David b) 11 Jan 1779 Joseph b) c. 1784 John b) c. 1791 Any help re: these families would be a great help.
