Dear List, I made a request to http://ancestralfindings.genealogy.org for a lookup (They will do one free lookup a day ) on " Canadian Genealogy Index, 1600s -1900s" ( CD118). I was looking for my 2nd great grandparents, Charles and Jane Baker Manning, who lived in or near Bowmanville in Durham Co. prior to moving to Illinois in 1848. I received a long list of results, but none were MY Mannings..... If anyone is looking for a C. Manning or a J. Manning in Canada or Alaska, I would be glad to share this listing with them.
