However, I did find a Gilbert Stevens in the Durham County Newspaper Index, as follows: STEVENS, Gilbert - daughter born May 31, 1868 STEVENS, Gilbert - died in Darlington on Jul 31, 1907 aged 87 years The above was all I could find.
