They arrived in Hallowell Twp., Prince Edward Co., from Co. Fermanagh, Ireland in 1822. In 1825 they moved to Belleville, Hastings Co., and in 1851 to Manvers Twp., Durham Co. Rhoda JOHNSTON who married someone named LARMER (or possibly TURNER). John JOHNSTON who married Jane HEASLIP in 1852. James JOHNSTON who married Susan PORY in about 1857. Elizabeth A.
