Hi everyone: I was talking to Carol Anthony-Pickings, the coordinator of the Brookside cemetery today. This is what she basically said. They only have a partial list of the damage stones. Many that are down are face down and are not sure who they are yet. She made the following suggestion for now. For us to get out to the different links and ask people if they have any loved ones or know or anyone that has loved ones or ancestors that are buried in the cemetery. They are contacting ones that they are able. People can contact her by phoning 902 543-4651. This is the town office number and ask for Carol Anthony Pickings. They can also email her at: recreation@town.bridgewater.ns.ca. Keep in mind this past week or more we have had comments all over Canada and the US. Somehow we should advertise this to all other possible links. I use two other links the Cape Breton Link and the Newfoundland. I was going to put them on right now; but I goofed the last time I went to place all four lists on at once. Any suggestions how we get to others? Are there volunteers that could help? It could be funnelled through me or maybe Nova Scotia Links could receive a cc so we would know what areas are covered. Please let me know how this should be done but not a lot of emails about it.
