I'm looking for ELLIOTTs in Durham Co. My 2g grandfather was James ELLIOTT. He and his wife, Christiana (or var) POTTS came to Durham Co. abt 1825 or slightly bef. Both b Ireland, Co. Cavan, married there, came to the US abt 1820, had their first child there, then on to Durham Co. My link is their dau, Ann Jane, who m her cousin, William Lovat POTTS, abt 1851.
