However, I do not think that this is the one which you are looking for, as this one died on Jul 9, 1922 at the age of 70 years. This would have made his date of birth about 1852. There is also a marriage as follows: Edwin ANNIS of Darlington, married Frances HOLDEN, d/o the late James Holden of Whitby, on Jun 15, 1882 There is a death of William ANNIS, of Darlington, father of Edwin, in Jun 1905 at the age of 92 years There are no Wills in the Surrogate Court Index, however, in the Durham County Marriage Registers, I see the following: John Waldron SCOTT, 25 of Listowell, born in Canada, s/o John and Mary, married Nov 4, 1862 to Jane ANNIS, 20 of Darlington, born Canada, d/o William and Elizabeth Do any of the above look familiar to you?
