Don Firsdon indicated an interest in the surname RUTHERFORD, primarily in Canada. I have a Frederick "Roy" Rutherford married to Viola Lillian WHITE, b. 13 Sep 1908. I have no further info on Frederick. Viola was a daughter of John WHITE, 1865-1942 & Mary Byers 1874-1954 of South Monaghan Twp. Mary Byers is a direct descendent of my 2nd great grandparents Robert Byers & Sarah Coote who emigrated from Cootehill, Co Cavan, Ireland in the 1830s and settled in Cavan and S. Monaghan Twps.
