Greetings Durham Ontario Listers! I wonder if the following question will bring excitement and vigour to this List, or just groans and moans? If you have an older browser, such as Netscape 2.0, do you have many problems accessing home pages on the internet (i.e., where your browser crashes or you simply cannot see the page)??? Or do most of you have version 4 or higher of either Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer? The reason I am asking, is because I am just setting up a new homepage which is hopefully of some interest to fellow genealogists and writers (therefore your input is especially sought after). Meanwhile, my web-designer is wondering how sophisticated he can make the home page. Older browsers sometimes cannot support the latest html-language or Java-script, etc. If you are puzzled, amazed, concerned, intrigued, or just plain interested (i.e., in testing the specific homepage) or if you have any other questions or info, please e-mail me at terras@vianet.on.ca !
