    3. Hi everyone! Does anyone out there have any connection to this family? Henry Parker came to Durham County, from Ireland, in the mid 1840's. Henry, his wife Eleanor (Harrison) and their seven children, Joseph, John, Robert, William, Henry, Ellen Jane and Elizabeth settled on lot nine in the fifth concession of Manvers township. Henry died about 1863 and left the land to two of his sons. His son Henry received the west half of the lot and appears to have lived there until 1887. Robert received the east half of the lot, but sold it to his older brother John. This land remained in John's name until 1891, at which time the deed was put in his wife's name, Elizabeth ( Lethangue). This land was passed down to their son David in 1905. He sold it a year later to Andrew Lethangue, whom I believe was a cousin of his mother's. >From the 1901 census it looks as though most of the family had left the township for parts unknown. I also know that Henry was married to Isabella Lethangue, John's wife's sister, and that Elizabeth married a James Byer. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who is related to this family in anyway. Thanks Rod Harrison
