Hi Frank; No there is no mention of your O.R. Hall in Sherry's book. However, I have found a bit of information for you. First of all, there are various names for O. and I wondered which one was correct. The Durham County Newspaper Index shows: HALL, O.R. - lost trotting stallion in fire - Jul 18, 1888 HALL, O.R. - near Hampton, son born, Nov 18, 1898 HALL, O.R. - of New Haven, visited by daughter, Mrs. Ottawa of Toronto, Oct 1, 1890 HALL, O.R. - of New Haven, father of J.B. Hall of Chicago - Jul 2, 1890 HALL, Orlan R. - of New Haven, had niece, Mrs. Charles Borland of West Toronto Junction visit - Aug 20, 1890 HALL, Orlan R. (Mrs. Mary) - of Maple Grove, died in Darlington, aged 49 years 9 months, May 7, 1887 HALL, Orland - died Sep 6, 1897, aged 66 years, buried in Bowmanville HALL, Orlon R - insolvency application - Oct 15, 1868 it would appear that there were two by the name of O.R. Hall - maybe you know which one is which. Kind regards Kathy Witheridge Sarnia, Ontario, Canada
