Thanks for the note: Robert Shand Chisholm was the son of Alexander Chisholm and Ann(e) Shand who were married in Port Hope Ontario December 19, 1839 Ann(e) Shand was a daughter of John Shand and Margaret Murray, she was born in Upper Tarmore Banffshire, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in the mid to late 1830's Ann(e) had two other sisters, her twin Margaret Murray Shand and an older sister Jean.
