    3. I would love to see your family group sheet. It does seem that our Croziers are related somehow. Hopefully we can figure out how. The main information passed down about my Crozier (which seem to be in the exact area as yours in Ireland) is that they were French Huguenots which would have made them probably immigrating at least 1560s or later. According to Frances Plimpton it was in 1640. (see family group sheet). I am supposed to have a set of blue glass vases that were brought over when they left France. As I read my notes, John and Mary immigrated to Canada later than your Croziers but I still would be surprised if we are not related since they came from the exact same area in Ireland and moved to the exact same area in Canada. > On Friday, August 3, 2018, 5:26:05 PM EDT, Jane Magill <jmagill@suddenlink.net> wrote: > > It seems as if these Crozier families should be related but I have tried for years to connect the several different Crozier families in the Durham county area with no success. 3. My great grandparents are Daniel JEFFERY & Catharine Rose SQUAIR. Daniel was born 1828 in Cookbury, Devon and emigrated to Bowmanville 1851-1861. In the 1871 census he was listed as Hotel keeper at the Eastern Hotel, Bowmanville. He married Catharine Rose SQUAIR (b. 1847, Bowmanville). Her father, Robert Squair, left Scotland ca. 1838-40 and settled in Bowmanville where he ran an oat & grist mill for 20 years. Daniel and Catharine had 5 children: Louis Jackson, Charles Francis, Katie Squair, Wade Howard and Stanley Brock (JEFFERY) - all born in Bowmanville as far as I can tell. I would love to hear from anyone who has these names in their family tree. Mary-Louise Thompson

    3. They are not hitting "reply all" -- when you hit reply, it goes back to the mailing list. If you are subscribed to receive every message as it is created, you will get them as they occur. If you are subscribed in "digest" mode, you will get a weekly email with all of the messages included. That's how a mailing list works.
