If not write, talk on the phone, etc. to anyone who will talk to you and write record with a recorder of some type what they tell you. Especially if there are any of your grandfather's siblings alive! Once you have what city he was born in write to the vital statistics office for that area for a copy of his birth certificate. Do a search on ancestry.com and familysearch.com. Get a good genealogy program like family tree maker if you haven't already. Keep both had written and computer copies of your work and what research you have done and where. Though sometimes repeating the same research will get some new results. Make copies of all your originally and use them to work with and keep the originals in a safe place, this way the originals will not be destroyed in anyway. I hope this has helped you.
