I hope the information helps give you a better understanding of this condition. As for my Olivers...my father (d. June 2004) and I have managed to trace our Olivers only as far back as Charleston, SC during the RW where Samuel Oliver, RS, was captured and died in prison during the RW. This line comes into GA through Abbeville, SC. In GA, our line shows up in the following counties: Hall, DeKalb, Campbell, Muscogee, and Fulton. Daddy also bought Col. Oliver's book some years ago and I have since inherited it; although I haven't referred to it in some time. I don't really remember that there was much, if anything, in there that pertained to our particular line. I haven't really been doing much serious research as of late, but if I find anything that may appear connected to your line, I'll let you know.
