Just wanted to comment on the described condition you mentioned. My great grandmother, Mary Alice Crosby had this condition also but the irony of this is she married an Oliver, George Samuel Oliver. This condition affected her left hand which drew down her ring and pinkie finger. No one knew what caused her condition or when it occurred. The family believed she had a stroke in that hand and when she was asked, she would claim she hurt her hand as a young child. I was a small child when I met my great grandmother and always wondered about her hand. The fingers never moved and always stayed curled up in the palm of her hand. She would have to forcibly stretch them out to trim her nails. I am surprised that someone else has experienced this condition and am happy to finally know what it is called. Thanks for sharing your information. Ellen Oliver Wilson JKWILSONFL@AOL.COM Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
