In pursuit of them I have also made contact with a lady in York through the Cleveland Family History Society. Her ancestry goes back to a William Oliver b 1767 Brompton who may also have been related to Michael but as yet unproven until we find the elusive parents. We think William married Mary Clarke and the family stayed in the Northallerton / Thrintoft area. Will keep in touch.
