Author: joolivermesplay Surnames: Oliver Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.oliver/4896.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi Sandy, I notice in "The Sketches Of The Olivers " book by Col Hugh and Margaret Oliver in 1790 South Carolina State Census there is a Peter and Thomas Oliver living in Orangeburg on page 95 of the 1788 census .Peter has 2 males ages 21-60 and 2 males 21 and over 60 and 3 females living in his household.Thomas has 1 male 21-60 3 males 21 and over 60 ,2 females. that is the only 2 Olivers listed in Orangeburg.1810 there are 2 pr(Peter) living there , this is the way it is listed in the book .
