Hugh Oliver and his wife, Margaret searched the Olivers of Cades Cove as Col. Oliver was born and raised in Cades Cove, Tenn. He compiled the information on his search for his ancestors and included information he collected that did not pertain to his lineage. I am an Oliver born but have no connection to Tenn. My line is in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida where they settled in Starke, Bradford County, Florida. I have the book and found it very useful in tracing my line.
