I doubt you'll ever see this reply, but I'll reply anyway. I'm an Oliver of Chattanooga. My dad was an Oliver of Chattanooga. His dad (I never met) name was Fred Robert Oliver, and his dad's name was John. Not sure the detail on that. My dad has some family geneology info. Fred grew up in the South Pittsburgh / Whiteside area, and moved to Chattanooga later. Side note: In Cade's Cove in the GSMNP, there is a John Oliver cabin. Always wondered if there was some relationship there. Of course all of your questions are probably already answered. For what it's worth.
