I do not have information on Rebecca Butler (Oliver) or on George Edward Allen. I am seeking the ancestors of Harrison Oliver because he is a brother of John H. Oliver, which is the line that I research (I have a good amount of descendant information, but not overly impressive, for John H. Oliver and his first two wives). I was just writing on this message board to provide the source for the name of their mother, Milly Pash. John H. Oliver gave the full name of both his parents (Samuel Oliver and Milly Pash) on his third marriage. John H. Oliver was twice a widower. He was about 62 years old when he married in 1882 to a widow. By then, the Vermilion County, Illinois marriage records were a lot more complete. Thus, we are able to confirm that the 6 Feb 1798 marriage record in Loudoun County, Virginia for Samuel Oliver to Milly Pash is the correct marriage for his parents. Some Oliver researchers say that a Joseph Oliver is the father of Samuel N. F. Oliver. I would like to know how they arrived at this conclusion. So, please participate in this discussion board if you have any input regarding the ancestry of either Samuel Oliver or the Pash line.
