They emigrated to Ontario, Canada (St. Thomas), from Tullynaloob (various spellings), co. Fermanagh, Ireland. I am told they emigrated through Halifax, but I can't confirm this. They had 8 children (Hugh, Kathleen, Robert, George Fredrick, Edward, John, Mary, and Elizabeth Jane). My direct ancestor was George Fredrick, b. 1881 in St. Thomas, who married Drussilla Smith in 1881. John died in St. Thomas in 1901 and Liza in 1917. George Fredrick and Drusilla also died in St. Thomas, in 1901 and 1917, respectively. I am looking for any info on the Olivers in St. Thomas, Ontario, or other info that might help me (I've hit a wall on their arrival in Canada, and earlier history in Ireland.
