My interest in the Olivers relates to an early woman doctor who worked for the Indian Bureau (a.k.a. the Quakers) in Kansas in 1870. Her name was Phebe Oliver and she grew up in my hometown, South Dansville, or as it was known in the 1860's when she was growing up there, Rogersville, New York. Thanks for your replies...and should you "bump into" Phebe (Phebe Oliver Briggs)along the way, let me know. Good luck with your research.
