Has any male named Oliver from the line of Dionysius been tested for YDNA? I believe that this line is also the line of Thomas Oliver born 1749 in Orangeburg Co, SC and Peter Oliver born 1752 in Orangeburg Coutny, SC who are MAYBE my Oliver line. Thomas Oliver had Peter in 1787 who had a Glenn McCartie Oliver. Peter Thomas Oliver, father of Dionysius Sr is said to have married Mary Anne McCarty (not McCarthy) who is supposedly from the line of Florance McCarty son of Dennis McCarty who is from the line of Donal McCartraugh, Earl of clan Carty or Justin McCartaugh, knight.
