Would you please let me know how you got this information? Was it some kind of record such as a census? #1 What was your source? Also, you said James and Frances Oliver had 11 children; I counted only 10 in the information you gave me. (Daniel, Mandley, Eli, John, Lavina, Maria, Mathilda, Mary, Frances, and Mildred. #2 Is there one missing? Having just learned about our common ancestor, James Oliver 1765, I do not know who is parents were. However, as I research this, if I come up with anything, I will be more than happy to share. #3 Would you be kind enough to provide me with the names of James Oliver's siblings. I think you said he had two brothers and a sister. I await your response about your sources and again, thank you so much for your assitance and help. By the way, I don't know if this will help you in your research, but other areas near Warren County, Virginia include Cedarville, White Post, Front Royal, Happy Creek, Flint Hill, and Berryville. It just might be good info to have when looking up records. If you see any of those places when looking up records, it may be worth a look. Other Olivers from this line have lived in those places. Mandley was one of 11 children but I do not know when or where he was born. He married Mildred Catlett and they had 4 children: Alfred, John B, James W, and Eli. I have very little other info on this line. The line of interest for me is through James and Frances' daughter Lavina, who married Benjamin Helm. She was born 19 Sep 1790 in Warren County VA. Her name was Phebe Oliver and she grew up in my hometown, South Dansville, or as it was known in the 1860's when she was growing up there, Rogersville, New York.
