Alvin's birthday is listed as : 23 Oct. 1805 in Alstead, New Hampshire. He married Julie Ann Merrifield/Merryfield on 11 Jan 1832. She was born in Vermont. According to the 1880 U. S. Census her parents were both born in Mass. Alvin Oliver and Julia Ann had at least 8 children. Susan E. Oliver was b. 29 June 1837 Her married name was Spencer. I think her husband was Francis Wm. Martha was born: 11 July 1861 in Shrewsbury, Rutland, VT. She died: 17 Dec. 1945 in Leicester, Addison, Vermont. In the name Susan E. the E stands for Esther. 3. Hi there, My granduncle, Wilfred George OLIVER, was born 17 Jun 1888 in Waldron, Sussex, England, UK. He died on 9 Apr 1972 in Florida, USA and was buried 12 Apr 1972 in Florida, USA. Wilfred’s (British) parents were George William OLIVER (1842-1919) and Mary Ann PAGE (Abt 1854–1930). Wilfred’s siblings were: a) Ann (1972-1918); b) Charlotte Elizabeth (1876-1958); c) Kathryn (1878-1961); d) Elizabeth Maud (1884-1962); e) Helen Florence (Cir 1890); and f) My maternal grandmother, Winifred Sarah (1893-1956). Wilfred apparently had two wives in USA, of whom I know the following: 1. He married Lydia?? BENDE?? and fathered three children, viz. Dorothy, Nora and George OLIVER, in USA; and 2. He also married Stella <???>. I am eager to fill in missing gaps, i.e. * Who (full names) did he marry, where and when? * Birth/death dates of the individuals concerned? * Any further details of the three named children (BMD and spouse(s))? * Any children from marriage to Stella? Any help would be appreciated! Regards, David L. Sutcliffe (Dave)

Test N. Edwards Jr DC? Several questions arise about these two wills? The wills were both filed on 23 June 1766 but written in different years - does this imply a common cause of death? Was it related to the Revolutionary War? John Denton was left all the land in Lucy's will. Was he their son-in-law? Possibly married to Isabel Denton who witnessed her will? All the Whittington people named in her will are siblings it seems - children of William and Mary who had wills in 1750 & 1756 in Brunswick. I wonder if Lucy is another daughter of theirs or somehow closely related to them. Which Oliver family does John belong to? His will mentions brothers Isaac and James. His wife mentions Isaac Oliver, son of James. Any information about this family's connection to others would be much appreciated.
