Census her parents were both born in Mass. Alvin Oliver and Julia Ann had at least 8 children. Susan E. Oliver was b. 29 June 1837 Her married name was Spencer. I think her husband was Francis Wm. Spencer of Wirksworth, Derbyshire, Englnd..In the 1880 Census it says she is a widow. Her daughter Martha E. Spencer is living with Susan and with Susan's parents. Martha was born: 11 July 1861 in Shrewsbury, Rutland, VT. She died: 17 Dec. 1945 in Leicester, Addison, Vermont. In the name Susan E. the E stands for Esther. All the Whittington people named in her will are siblings it seems - children of William and Mary who had wills in 1750 & 1756 in Brunswick. I wonder if Lucy is another daughter of theirs or somehow closely related to them. Which Oliver family does John belong to? His will mentions brothers Isaac and James. His wife mentions Isaac Oliver, son of James. Any information about this family's connection to others would be much appreciated.
