Born late 1700s, son STeven born about 1828 was my greatgrandfather, his son Joseph C b1862 was my grandfather, don't really know much about Oliver line, another Judith Oliver married Robert Childress possibly STephen's brother, beleive Judith and Maria were related? He had a brother William Oliver was a Merchant Marine who was married to Margaret. Bernard Oliver and William Oliver had at least two sisters. One of his sisters was Edna Oliver who married and moved to New Jersey. Edna's children were Milton and Linda. Edna adopted her nephew Larry Oliver who was one of her sister's sons. His brothers and Linda's and Milton's cousins are George, Larry and Danny(Daniel) Oliver. Geraldine Townsend(Sissy)from Philadelphia,Glenda Oliver(Dupree)from Philadelphia, Bernard(Bernie)Oliver now living in Wash., D.C., Marvin Oliver and Marsha Oliver. Marsha's mother is Alverta Miranda Chapman. I would appreciate any information that you can give me regarding my father's family. This is a very large family who is unknown for the most part to me. Some of the family lives in the D.C. M! etro Area, South Carolina, New York, Florida, New Jersey, Phila. Pennsylvania, Virginia, Atlanta, GA. and Maryland.
