JOHNSON who married John OLIVER probably in Winston Co., AL in 1890.They lived in Delmar. Her sister, Ardalia JOHNSON, married a James M. MASSEY in that area, probably in 1889. I just can't find them on any marriage lists in Winston Co. at present. I can't find a death record for Sarah L. OLIVER. She died sometime between 1910-1920. I think it was closer to 1920 because her husband is remarried and no children are born to him and his new wife as shown on the 1920 U.S. census. Coxhoe School: started on 4 Apr 1921 (aged 7 years 4 months) and left on 22 Dec 1927 (aged 14 years 1 month) Richard his brother started in 1913 . Army Service 1931 -1945 Royal Engineers (Railways) . Profession Miner (latterly at Washington F Pit) . 1st Marriage Isabella Brass Cuthbertson on 2 Sep 1939 at Parish Church, Gateshead 1 son Leslie Oliver born 20 Mar 1940 at 47, Coburg Street, Gateshead (a half brother I have never met and knew nothing about until recently) His first wife died 14 Apr 1943 (less than 2½ years of marriage) Son Leslie was adopted as father was in Army.
