She was the widow of Jesse Qualls who preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Qualls was born in Hopkins Co., Ky. Aug. 1, 1894, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Susan Oldham Suthard. Hospital where he had been a patient for the past two weeks following several years of declining health. Oldham was born in Webster Co., Ky. March 10, 1886, the son of the late Willis Calvin and Elizabeth Fowler Oldham. He was married to Maude Campbell in 1916 and to this union five children were born. He was a member of Mortons Gap Christian Church and the G.L. Carrier Masonic Lodge 948 F&AM at Mortons Gap. He had previousley been a member of the N. H. Shaw Masonic Lodge 608 F&AM at Nortonville of which he was a past master. Oldham was street commissioner at Mortons Gap for several years He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Woodmen of the World. He was employed by the Kentucky Power Co. in Nortonville as a stationary engineer and later worked for KU before retiring in 1953. Surviving are his wife, Mrs, Maud Campbell Oldham, Mortons Gap; four daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Etta) Long and Mrs. Marvin (Ola) Wagoner, both of Louisville, Ky. Mrs, Lawson (Madalyne) Furgerson and Mrs Jean Wiley, both of St. Louis; a son Jack Oldham, Mortons Gap; a sister, Mrs. Sam Prow, Madisonville; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Michael Hogg and the Rev. Edward Owen. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery.
