My maternal grandmother was America Ann Oldham born in 1847 in Union (Webster County) Ky. She had two brothers: John and Henry Ewell. Perhaps your Robert Everett may have been the son of one of her brothers. Diamond is a tiny community about 2 miles from Providence, Ky. I live in Minnesota now but next time I go to Webster County I'll check at the cemetery to see if they have more info. America was married to my grandfather, Enoch Amos Morehead of Union County and is buried in Morganfield, Ky. More info on America and her brothers: We found that her guardian was a Mr. Frazier so we assume her parents may have died when she and her brothers were minors.
