    2. Hello, The Oldham Coat of Arms is officially documented in Burke's General Armory. The original description of the arms ( Shield) is as follows: "SA, A Chev, or, Betw, Three owls AR. on a Chief of the second as many roses Gu" When Translated the blazon also describes the orignal colors of the Oldham arms as "Black; A Gold Chevron, Between three silver owls; on a Gold Upper Third, Three Red Roses." Above the Shield and Helmet is the Crest which is described as; " A Naturally Colored Owl." Scanner is down or would send it to you, hope this helps some.
