Hello list, This is my first post to this list. I am hoping someone out there will be able to direct me. My OLDHAMs are Charles and Nancy. From the book, 20th Century History of Delaware County, Ohio, and Representative Citizens: Shuah MANN Sr.'s wife Nancy, was the daughter of Charles OLDHAM, born and raised in Manchester, England. He joined the American Army. His brother Major OLDHAM, fell in battle. Charles was a Captain in the war. He settled in New Jersey, served as constable 9 years, Justice of the Peace 3, Sheriff 3. One researcher said he was twice married and had many descendants. Unfortunately, I have been unable to make any connection with this Oldham. Does this ring any bells with any of you?
