Pricilla-what a pretty name....thank you, I too just figured out who the Pope was. I am a member of a Pope site and got some info and a bit more here for you. So maybe this Nath'l is related to the Nath'l that was connected also to Wm Pope Duval...I find the more research I do, more folks are related and connected back then, fascinating to me, Nena David Pope - Jan 25, 2003 [email protected] I believe this is a different line than the previously confusing POPE/DuVal line (too many William's, Nathanial's, etc): The Penelope POPE here is the daughter of William and Penelope nee EDWARDS POPE. William Pope, who married Penelope Edwards, was the son of Worden Pope and Hester Netherton of Virginia. Worden was the son of the third generation Nathaniel Pope who was the grandson of the immigrant Nathaniel, born 1610. The daughter of Col. William Pope, who married Penelope Edwards was Penelope Pope who married as her first husband Col. William H. Oldham, son of John Oldham who was born October 17, 1708, in St. Stephens Parish, Northumberland Co, VA. This William Oldham is the brother of Susanna Oldham, my husband's 5th great-grandmother). Her second husband was Henry Churchill, born December 10, 1768, son of Armistead. I think I'm repeating data you have here. I don't have much info on these collateral lines as I haven't gone that far from my husband's direct Oldham ancester who was the John Oldham, born October 17, 1708, and married to Anne (Nancy) Conway, born 1718. I'll check over the rest of the info you sent and see what else I can find.>Priscilla _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
