Had children, Mary, William 1st, William 2nd, Thomas, Ann, John and Sarah. I am descended from Mary b. 1799 m. John Fewkes, and d. 1835. Let me know if we make a link. Matty married John KENWORTHY on March 3, 1762 at St. Michael, Ashton under Lyne. John KENWORTHY was b. March 31, 1741 at Hurst Hall, Lancashire, England and d. April 16, 1785. The children of John and Matty were as follows: Alice b. March 1, 1764 in Hurst, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire, England and d. October 17, 1813. Mary b. March 17, 1766 in Hurst, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire, England and d. November 17, 1837. William b. May 30, 1768 in Hurst, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire, England and d. Unknown. Catharine b. July 20, 1770 in Hurst, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire, England and d. September 27, 1818 in Stockport, England. Sally b. July 20, 1770 in Hurst, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire, England and d. December 29, 1818 in Stockport, England. (Something looks fishy here in that Catharine and Sally are shown as being born on the same day and dying on the same day. May 31, 1922 (Cambria County PA) Samuel was from Oldham, Lancashire England according to family history (have no official documentation of this yet, though). m. Sarah Ann SIMS or SIMMS b. Ohio Oct 13, 1874 d. Oct 9, 1921 (Cambria County PA). Sarah was daughter of Samuel Sims b. Wales around 1854. Samuel resided in Centre County PA with this family in 1910. (Have not been able to find any other Simms/Simms tied to this family) Children (all born PA) Grace Ester Oldham, Frederick William Oldham, Samuel Albert Oldham, Rose Lydia Oldham, Margaret Virginian Oldham, and Bernice Muriel Oldham.     3. Sounds like it would be interesting, however I live near Jacksonville, FL. Born in Detroit (2/3/44), was first in Family to be born in the North. My dad found work there in 1941 and then sent for my Mother and brother. Got transferred from Michigan to Florida in Jan. 2000. Work for CSX Transportation as Chief Clerk. Originally worked for Pennsylvania RR, then Penn Central & Conrail. Last time I was in Providence was 4 or 5 years ago. John was killed in the Civil War. Their father was Caleb T. Oldham. I hope to get to Frankfort one day and see if I can find any more info on the family.
