Hello, I have traced back to John William Oldham and Phillipa Sowter Oldham, from Derby, England. The only verification I have of this is in the Plymouth Records. He has a sister by the name of Lucretia, also a daughter by named Lucretia, and some sons, would have to go to records to get their names. He brought the Bay Settlers back from England along with his 2 sons, and he was granted land but I don't know who granted him that. If you have further info please share. Shelia Oldham Wilburn

I don't know about your George and Cecelia Oldham coming from England. My G-grandfather (George Oldham married to Mary Elizabeth Peters) was born in Philadelphia and I was told as a child that our Oldhams have been here for "ages". I am trying to find a link to John Oldham who was granted land by William Penn in the 1600's per Philadelphia records. Looking for Oldhams who can trace roots to US through Philadelphia and possibly we are related and all of us are decedented from this John Oldham.
