I have the pension files Cert # 715940 for William E. Oldham who served in Co. A of the 21st KY Vol. Inf from NARA (a good inch of documents). This is not the individual I was searching for so will gladly forward them to anyone descending from this William. He was born approx 1840 in Palmyra, Missouri. He married Mary K. Her name was Laeuna (Oldham) Connelly. I recently received a photo of "aunt Cuzza and uncle Jim Baker" which says she was Laeuna's sister. But I find only Eunice "Una" Laura Oldham listed as her sister. I believe the name has been misspelled over time, I did find a reference to "Lucuna". She married J.W. Connelly. There was an Oldham family in early Pennsylvania which adopted the spelling Oldman at various times. There was also an Anton Oldman in Floyd Co., IN about 1874. My Oldham's came out of Montgomery Co. TN and settled in Clay County Ar, and in Dunklin Co.MO. I don't know where the name change took place, my line stayed Oldham's all the way back to the 1557.
