Thanks for looking Meg. I have been up to The Old Stone Church many years ago. Have a copy of the originals rolls and copied most of the stones. There were many Dix there and believe there has been additional restoration since I was there. Hope I have not misconstrued the territory under Old-Fredrick-Co. The prime ancestor, Benjamin Dix is buried in KS but have never been able to get a handle on his parents or when he came into the Whitehall/Greenspring areea of VA. No one seems to have been able to pin that down in spite of the fact that there are distant relatives in the general area. Thanks anyway for your help.
