Dear Margaret, You reference a Benjamin W. Dix, b. 1804, d. 1892. I do not have any direct information, but have an Elizabeth Dix b. Dec. 16, 1807 in Virginia, d. Dec. 19, 1858 in Hampshire Co. VA. She married Felix McNemar (my 2nd-Great Grandfather) on March 23, 1823. The only other information I have is that Elizabeth had a sister, Mary. There may be some possible connection.
